Our next intake for our business and life skills coaching training course will be by end January 2013.
The course is now presented over a period of 6 months, and consists of the following two levels:
LEVEL ONE
Level one consists of 6 full days compulsory lectures. These days are spread over three months, two days a month. In between lecture day students will have assignments to complete as well as coaching sessions to embark on. Students are expected to coach two coachees, for a minimum of 6-8 sessions. During this period students will also receive supervision from an accredited ICF supervisor.
The content of level one will cover the following modules:
- The foundation of coaching
- Self- awareness and self-mastery- foundation for life coaching
- Understanding subconscious processes- the psychology of coaching
- Facilitative techniques in coaching
- Process of coaching
- Aligning coaching to organisational strategy and marketing yourself as a coach
Lecture days will be:
- 7 and 8th Febr 2013
- 7 and 8th March 2013
- 4th and 5th April 2013
- Practical exam: 23 July 2013
Once level one has been completed students move to level two.
LEVEL TWO
Level two consists of a 3,5 day Optimal state workshop, within an ontological perspective. This workshop will take place in May/ June 2013.
The participant is taken on a personal journey into the depths of their own humanness where they will explore some of the following ontological questions:
What is a human being?
What is it to be human?
Who am I?
What do I want?
Why am I here?
What’s my purpose?
The total amount of the days will be 9,5 full days which are compulsory and one day where the student will be required to do a real life coaching session as part of a practical examination.
The total cost of the course is R24 000. A deposit of R6000 is required with registration in January. The rest of the money could be paid over a period of 5 months. This include all training materials and manuals, as well as three text books. The costs also includes lunch.
This course is now accredited with the ICF- International coaches federation, as well as the ETDP seta- NQF level 5, 22 credits in conjunction with LPL (Learning Performance Link)
After completion of this course you can practise as a business or life coach in the industry. COMENSA also allows you registration during the period at a reduced fee.
